Abigail Storms elected Chair of the Board for the Calorie Control Council
We are proud to announce that Abigail Storms, Tate & Lyle's Senior Vice President, Global Platform, Sweeteners and
Fibres, has been elected as the Chair of the Board for the Calorie Control Council (CCC).
Established in 1966, the CCC is an international association representing manufacturers and suppliers of low- and reduced-calorie foods and beverages. This includes manufacturers and suppliers of more than 24 different alternative sweeteners, fibres, and other low-calorie dietary ingredients. The CCC fosters collaboration among industry stakeholders and promotes dialogue with scientific and governmental organisations, health professionals, and consumer groups on the benefits of low- and reduced-calorie ingredients.

Juan Cristián appointed as President of the Board of the International Stevia Council
We are equally excited to announce that Juan Cristián Santa Maria, Tate & Lyle's Senior Director of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs, has been appointed as the President of the Board for the International Stevia Council (ISC) for the 2024-2026 term.
Juan Cristián joins a dynamic team dedicated to advancing ISC's mission of promoting the benefits of stevia. His expertise and leadership will contribute to the continued success and growth of their initiatives to improve people's diets and health by addressing sugars and calories in food.
