Similar functionality to modified food starch 

The proprietary technology used to develop CLARIA® Functional Clean-Label Starches allows the starches to deliver similar functionality to modified food starch, in terms of process tolerance, appearance and taste, based on internal testing and customers’ feedback.

Process Tolerance

  • Tolerant to shear, heat and acid, even under extreme conditions like ultra-high temperatures (UHT) and homogenisation
  • Demonstrates high thickening efficiency and texture consistency over time

Appearance and Taste

  • White colour profile – does not impart darker colour on final products, and delivers smoothness and shininess
  • Clean taste that does not impart off-tastes on
    final products
