  • Can I send my CV to keep on file?

    We would recommend you create your own ‘talent profile’ by joining our Talent Pool, which the Recruitment Team searches to find potential candidates for vacancies. If you are interested in applying for a specific vacancy that has been advertised, you will need to apply through the career site by following the link.

  • How does Tate & Lyle use my talent profile?

    Your careers profile is used by our recruitment team when they are looking to recruit for a job. They will match your skills against the requirements of the job, so please keep your skills up to date. You will still need to check our vacancies too, in case our system doesn’t match you to a role you’d consider yourself suitable for. Full information on data privacy is available when you apply.

  • What is a talent profile?

    Your talent profile is a bit like an online CV and is similar to your LinkedIn profile (if you have one) and includes details of your skills, experiences, and work history. It also has your contact details.

    You can update your talent profile any time you like to show new skills you have developed, courses you have attended or projects you have worked on.

  • How can I verify that my CV has been received?

    After submitting your application for a job you should receive an email confirming that your application has been received. It may take up to 48 hours for you to receive this message. If, after 48 hours, you have still not received the email confirmation:

    • Check your junk email or spam email folder
    • Check that the email address you used for the application process was the correct one.

  • What should I do if I search for a job and no results come back?

    Unfortunately, this means there are no available positions using the search criteria that you specified. Broaden your search criteria, or set yourself up for job alerts to automatically notify you of any suitable new roles.

  • How does the interview process work?

    We use competency-based interviews, psychometric testing and assessment centres but there are a variety of other selection tools we use where necessary. You will be given details of any assessment should you be invited to interview.

  • How long will the selection process take?

    It varies, but we understand the pressures of looking for work and will do our best to make quick decisions wherever possible. You can always track your application through your talent account when you log in.
